Key Items

Dragon Bone Whistle

A whistle carved from a deceased dragon's bone in the shape of a dragon's head. It is secured by a hemp cord to be worn around the neck. When blown, it emits no sound that dragonkin can’t hear, akin to the cry of a dragonling. It was given to Euphoria Tathenval upon the return of the unhatched Blue Dragon egg.

“I think it’s broken or something...”

                     - Euphoria Tathenval.

Bundle of Dragon Eggs

Three dragon eggs--blue, red, and black--rescued from the Cult of the Dragon’s hidden hatchery. They stand approximately one and a half meters tall and are warm to the touch. Their origins are unknown.

“There are many skalds of heroes that vanquished, or are vanquished by, the dragons. I hope our skald is different.”

-Songkona

Weird Journal

A leather-bound journal drenched in the milk of the Feywild. Few of its scribblings are legible and even less exist in any discernible language. Any pages that do come apart piece together evidence of the mirrored realm and the beasts who live in its mists.

I wouldn’t touch it if I were you. It’s a memory thief among other tricky things.”

-Emmeline Fidget

Character, Item, and Location Descriptions

Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition

Characters

Emmeline Fidget

Emmeline is the proprietor of The Hag’s Truth in Greenest. She’s a bright-spirited old woman with a fondness for silver, often found stirring her tea with her forefinger. She dresses in velvet robes and cloaks that end promptly at her ankles and has trouble remembering to be as mysterious as her specialty requires.

Eddie the Mimic

A so-called friendly mimic who made his home in an abandoned cave once devoted to dragons now abandoned and overtaken by kobolds. He’s not sure how he got there, his eyes aren’t what they used to be. If the price is right, Eddie will bite!

Alistair Greycastle

A noble paladin of Thom, Alistair hides his upbringing on the streets of Elturel in his steadfast posture. His demeanor is comforting even though his bedside manner could use some work. He often dons the symbol of his order with his holy symbol for everyone to see, if only as a comfort himself.

Euphoria Tathenval

Euphoria is a bright eyed tiefling, heir to the throne of her father rotting under his rule. After spending most of her life cooped up, she set herself free in search of her banished mother relying on the ways of the wilderness to guide her forward. She retains much of her status despite how far she gets from home, modifying her party dresses to be fit for adventure.

Locations

The Hag’s Truth

A quaint cottage on the west side of town is known as The Hag’s Truth. It's surrounded on all sides by a four foot hedge speckled with roses. On the other side of the hedge is a small herb garden. Inside, the floor sparkles with constellations, a crystal ball sitting in the corner at a table for two. Behind the oak counter is a wall completely full of books, concoctions and supplies. Emmeline Fidget is the enchantress there, working with her elven assistant Sarie Silverwing.

The Rolling Hills Tavern

Run by Alani Crandy and her husband Theodric Crandy, the Rolling HIlls Tavern is in the center of town. It is a wooden cottage whose roof is all sod and grass. Flowers accent every door and window on its exterior, attracting often butterflies of all shapes and demeanor. The interior is full of hewn wooden furniture, long tables down the middle, smaller tables in the corners. A massive iron chandelier hangs over the dining area, a staircase in the back leads up to four comfortable rooms. A massive human barbarian is often seen there drinking alone and in silence.

The Olive Alchemist Academy

A dome-shaped building just outside the bustling town center, halfling Giles Shortwick runs the Olive Alchemist Academy. It’s rounded roof looks to resemble a potion bottle tipped upside down. The inside is stacked floor to ceiling with herbs, potions and potion bottles in impossible handwriting to read, the stench of every herb persisting through the entire shop. While working, he prefers the solitude of his shop and bars entry from any and all patrons.
