About Me

Hello! My name is Mariah, I'm a writer and narrative designer based in Los Angeles. I specialize in bringing characters and story to life in games through narrative-based mechanics and excellent character dialogue.

 

In terms of skill, I'm a one-woman multitool proficient in script writing, storyboarding, and Adobe Photoshop. Coupled with my hands-on experience designing games and working professionally on code-based narrative implementation, I'm a complete pipeline package from start to finish with every beat of iteration in-between.

Storytelling in games and on paper is one of my biggest passions and I take pride in all projects no matter how small. I shine brightest in my eagerness to collaborate with others, making me the perfect addition to any writer's room.

My writing specialties include crafting love-struck losers, concise character dialogue, and extended metaphors riddled with motif and other callbacks that will guaranteed make you stop brushing your teeth to think about it again.

When I'm not writing or playing video games, I'm working on my next cosplay, petting one of my three cats, or listening to a true crime podcast.
